I purchased the Hijaz scale flute in the key of A, and I absolutely love it. The hemlock wood produces a light, warm, and beautifully resonant tone. I also appreciate the bore size, which provides just the right amount of back pressure while still allowing me to push plenty of air through the instrument with ease. Just finished my flute. Tuned it to F# with the help of an app. which was challenging but with the help of your online tutorials I was able to make a flute that’s both beautiful to look at and to play!

I purchased many Native American style flutes from Stellar and decided it was time to try something more exotic. The Walnut Hijaz flute in "A" challenges me because the fingering is quite different. The sound is haunting and exotic! It's like playing Middle Eastern music and waiting for a snake to start dancing! Thank you Stellar, for making this perfect addition to my flute collection!

Stellar flutes are magnificent musical instruments. I have several of them and they’re the only flutes I buy because I am assured of excellent quality, artisanship, wood, and sound. I play a lot. Sounds absolutely beautiful. The western Cedar soft wood makes for a really warm soft sound.
I am new to Native American flutes and honestly hooked. I love the weight, easy to play, and tone of this flute. I teach yoga and often times start class with singing bowls, i have moved to my flute and have received many comments from the students about how they love the sound of a live flute. Furthermore, I play in the lobby and even as a novice receive many compliments. This is my kind of instrument.

The flute is surprisingly beautiful!
And it has a rich tone. Finger holes are not too large for someone with smaller hands. Very enjoyable to play! I started with a different brand and Stellar beats it hands down. Wish I had tried Stellar first! Just a well made flute by an awesome team! It arrived in record time too.
