Our Basic model flutes are tailored to beginner flute players, offering three keys to gradually advance your flute playing skill and improve hand dexterity. Each flute includes a booklet of detailed playing  instructions and a fingering chart. With these affordably priced and expertly tuned flutes, you will be off to a great start!

 Start small with the key of A and advance to lower and larger keys as you gain flexibility and muscle memory in your fingers! The key of G is also a wonderful starting point, being the middle sized and pitched flute of the three, it is well suited for those with some flute playing experience or those with medium to large sized hands. The F# is the lowest in pitch and largest of the three and offers a wonderful gateway into the world of bass flutes.

Our Basic model flutes cater to entry-level musicians, ensuring a seamless transition into playing the flute. They come in three keys which are all suitable for new flute players because the fingering holes are placed close enough together that most people can comfortably play them, but just to be on the safe side, read the descriptions of each key for some additional guidance on which of the three keys to buy. They are tuned with the same care and precision as our more expensive flutes. They feature a Pentatonic minor scale and are tuned to the universal standard concert tuning 440hz so they will be compatible to play with other orchestra instruments. Whether you're a complete novice or have some musical experience the versatility of these instruments ensures an inclusive musical experience for all.

We understand the importance of budget-friendly options for beginners. Our Basic model Native American style flutes offer exceptional value without compromising on quality. They have a sleek and elegant design with a low profile block and no decoration. All of our Basic flutes are made from western red cedar. We apply a dark stain to our “Iron Stained Cedar” flutes but they are made out of the same wood as the natural colored cedar flutes.
