That said, many beginners find this key suitable, especially if they have larger hands or some flute playing experience. Learn About Key Of F# Flutes
As you can see from the picture, our Native American style F Sharp flutes are the largest and also lowest pitched flutes in our beginner line of flutes. They are a bit harder to play due to their size, but many novice flute players start with larger hands or more hand dexterity can play this key with a bit of practice.
Flutes get longer in size and the finger holes move further apart and further down on the flute as the key gets lower. Many people agree that the lower sounding flutes are irresistible!
