This much sought after redwood flute does not disappoint. It has a deep and haunting voice with a wonderful resonance to it. It's hard to put down. The wood is made from an old covered bridge that was deconstructed. The bridge was over a 100 years old so the wood itself is very old.

The low D is about 26 inches long with a 1 1/8 inch bore diameter. It’s about 11 ¼ inches from the mouth end to the middle of the first fingering hole, and the fingering holes are 1 ¼ inches apart from center to center but are clustered in groups of three to make them easier to play. There is a nearly a 2 inch gap between the top three holes and the bottom three holes.

Native American style flutes in the key of D have a very deep and resonant voice. They are larger around then out E flutes, with a 1 1/8 inch bore diameter.
