Bass B Native American style flutes, sometimes called low B flutes, are more advanced due to their size. This is the lowest key of flute we currently make. It has a deep and full voice with a soothing rich tone. I recommend this key for people who have experience playing Native flute already or have experience with other instruments that require the fingers and hands to be stretched, such as piano, guitar, or other woodwind instruments.
This 6 hole flute is tuned the universal standard 440 hz concert tuning and features a pentatonic minor scale ( the most common scale for modern Native American flutes). With the guidance of the booklet, you can learn to play many other scales on this flute which make use of all 6 holes.

Measurements

This flute is 29 1/2 inches long with a 1 1/4 inch bore diameter. It's 13 inches from the mouth end to the center of the first fingering hole. The fingering holes are clustered in sets of three to make them easier to play, with the first set being spaced just over 1 ¼ inches apart center to center and the second set being just under 1 1/2 inches apart center to center. There is a 2 inch gap between the first cluster of holes and the second.
