Flutes in the key of F sharp (F#) are a wonderful choice for people with larger hands, or people with some flute playing experience already. If you already have a key of G flute, this would be a great next step in advancing your flute playing to a lower key. The finger hole stretch is larger than on the key of G and the overall length of the flute is longer. The F# flute has a lower voice than the key of G .
