Redwood key of E Flute

These flutes are made from an ancient piece pf redwood. They have a soothing and full voice with a soft spoken quality to it. The wood was reclaimed from 100 year old covered bridge. The trees that were used to make this bridge were most likely very old as well. This is a protected wood so it's very special to get a few pieces to make flutes out of.


This flute has a 1 inch bore diameter and is about 26 inches long, about 11 and 1/2 inches from the mouth end to the middle of the first fingering hole. The holes are about 1 1/4 inches apart from center to center.
