This flute is made from an ancient piece pf redwood. The wood was reclaimed from 100 year old covered bridge. The trees that were used to make this bridge were most likely very old as well. This is a soft and light weight wood which adds resonance to the voice of the flute.
This flute has a 1 inch bore diameter and is about 26 inches long, about 11 and 1/2 inches from the mouth end to the middle of the first fingering hole. The holes are about 1 1/4 inches apart from center to center.
