This flute is made from a hard and durable piece of beech. This unique wood has a grain pattern of small flecks rather than the linear grain pattern we are all used to seeing in many different kinds of wood. Take   a look at the pictures for details. Its voice is clear and deep with a resonant quality.

Measurements

This flute is 24 inches long with a 7/8 inch bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1 1/8 inch apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately 10 ¾ inches.
