This flute is made from a stunning duel tone piece of wood. It has a dark green brown stripe that runs down the full flute body and is lighter in color on the sides. It has so much color and character. This unique soft “hardwood” has a resonant and full voice. The highest note has a controllable “tonk” which means if you push more air through it , it will jump to an additional note. This is not the same as an overblow note, though it is achieved in a similar way. I demonstrate this feature in the video sound demo.

This flute is made from FSC certified wood.  FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
