This flute is made from a piece of Redwood that was salvaged from 100-year-old bridge. The wood itself is much older and was likely from an ancient tree. This is a softwood flute which adds a resonance that you can feel in your hands as you play. It should be protected with a flute bag to avoid dents.

This flute is about 21 ½ inches long, 9 ½ inches from the mouth end to first hole, and the holes are 1 inch apart center to center.
