$425.00

This flute is made out of a beautiful piece of Poplar wood. It has a color shift from a light pale green on the back side of the flute to a rich medium brown color which is outlined by a dark brown. Poplar is a medium weight hardwood with a smooth feeling texture and a nice weight. This flute has a deep and soothing voice. This is a big flute and will be better suited for someone with prior flute playing experience.

Please note that three of the four direction holes at the foot of the flute were filled with black resin to adjust the tuning while the flute was being made, please don't' try to remove this!

Remember to scroll through the photos to find a video of this flute being played!

Bass B Native American style flutes, sometimes called low B flutes, are more advanced due to their size. This is the lowest key of flute we currently make. It has a deep and full voice with a soothing rich tone. I recommend this key for people who have experience playing Native flute already or have experience with other instruments that require the fingers and hands to be stretched, such as piano, guitar, or other woodwind instruments.

This 6 hole flute is tuned the universal standard 440 hz concert tuning and features a pentatonic minor scale ( the most common scale for modern Native American flutes). With the guidance of the booklet, you can learn to play many other scales on this flute which make use of all 6 holes.

This wood is FSC certified.  FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
