Cindy Nice! I have been able to play this almost immediately out of the box, using the tips in your videos and some other on-line tutorials. Very sweet sound and craftsmanship is excellent. I'll likely be back for another in a different key, just for variety.

WAYNE HONDA Been playing the shakuhachi for 41 years and began playing this kind of flute very recently.
I have flutes from three other popular makers, I like all of them and I am able to get more volume from your flute. It has a good "feel" to it.
Been teaching the shakuhachi for many years.
It is very difficult to play. I will recommend this style of flute to frustrated shakuhachi students and I feel they will love the instrument as much as I do.
They will choose which makers flute to purchase and I feel yours will be their first choice.
