This flute is made from a beautiful piece of figured maple. The color of the wood is a lovely warm tan, similar to cherry. It has a tight tiger stripe wave to the grain that shimmers and changes in the light. Maple is a hard and durable wood. The flute has a nice weighty feel with a silky smooth finish.
This flute is about 21 ½ inches long, 9 ½ inches from the mouth end to first hole, and the holes are 1 inch apart center to center.

Excellent made flute. Love it! Only thing is I got it in the key of g though and wished I had purchased one that was in a lower tone. It’s my first ever flute and that’s my only regret. The craftsmanship is beautiful
