This flute is made from a very red colored piece of Redwood. The wood is reclaimed from an old, deconstructed bridge the bridge was over 100 years old and this wood is older still. It's voice is full and deep with a soft quality to it.

Measurements

This flute is 28 1/4 inches long with a 1 1/4 inch bore diameter. It's 12 inches from the mouth end to the center of the first fingering hole. The fingering holes are clustered in sets of three to make them easier to play, with the first set being spaced 1 inch apart center to center and the second set being 1 3/8 inches apart center to center. there is a 2 inch gap between the first cluster of holes and the second.

Our standard carrying case will fit a Stellar flute in the key of A, G, F#, F, and E.  If you have a flute in a higher or lower key please specify in the order notes. If you add a carrying case to an order with a flute, you will receive a case that fits the flute ordered unless you comment that you need a different size case.
