Drone Flute Kit
This kit is made from two matched flute blanks joined by a center spline of walnut. It comes predrilled, tuned in the pentatonic scale, and fully playable.  It  features the optional drone side hole as all of our finished drones do. The drone kit is not two pretuned kits joined together. The mouth holes are drilled closer together to make playing easier. This is a very affordable way to own a drone flute.

 

The Key of C
The Drone Kit in the key of C is a very small flute, only 19"  long with a 3/4 " bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1" (2.5cm) apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately  8 3/4".

The Key Of A
 The Drone Kit in the key of A is a small flute,  21 1/2"  long with a 7/8 " bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1" apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately  9 3/4".

The Drone Kit in the key of G is a medium flute. 23 1/2"  long with a 7/8" bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1 1/8" apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately  10 1/8".

 The Drone Kit in the key of F# is a medium flute. 24"  long with a 7/8" bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1 1/8" apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately  10 3/4".

The Key of F
 The Drone Kit in the key of F is a large flute, 25" long with a 7/8 " bore. The fingering holes are (from center to center) approximately 1 1/4" apart. The distance from the mouth end of the flute to the first finger hole is approximately  11".
